Gaggenau Cooling - The Vario cooling range for top class food storage
The summer of 2007 saw the introduction of an exciting new collection of cooling appliances by the UK's leading luxury kitchen appliance specialist Gaggenau.
Still leading the market the new range includes a premium class refrigerator, two freezers, two fridge freezers and a wine storage cabinet all part of the 'Vario Cooling' range. They are all designed to be fully integrated into the kitchen units for a totally streamlined effect. They can also accept stainless steel or aluminium doors to co-ordinate with other Gaggenau kitchen appliances, if preferred.
Gaggenau's new Vario cooling appliances come in a choice of four different widths, allowing them to be freely combinable and individually tailored to suit your specific food storage requirements. This means total flexibility because you can choose the perfect refrigeration combination for your kitchen. All models boast a top 'A+' rating for energy efficiency and are particularly economical to use. They are also amongst the quietest appliances in their class.
As expected of a luxury brand, the Vario cooling collection offers all the latest & most desirable features: high quality hygienic interiors with stainless steel cladding, new lighting concept incorporating spotlights in the ceiling & side mounted strip lights; new design options for the interior cabinetry plus easily adjustable shelves, one of which is motorised to create even more interior space. In addition, all the drawers and trays can be fully extended and the doors can be opened up to a generous angle of 115 degrees. A new multi air flow system inside the door maintains a constant temperature in the large aluminium door trays and within the fridge itself.
Luxurious interiors are also a feature of the new Vario freezers. They offer adjustable, solid metal shelves and two transparent, fully extendible drawers, one of which is extra wide. An integrated ice maker for approx. 4kg of ice cubes is also incorporated in the RF 461 while the RF 463 features a combined ice and water dispenser.
New wine storage cabinet model RW 464 contains two temperature zones that can be adjusted independently of one another by means of electronic temperature control, ranging from 5°C to 18°C, depending on whether you are storing white or red wine - or both. Up to 103 bottles can be stored here on ten fully extendible beech trays with aluminium trims; you can see them at all times, thanks to the glass doors and superior lighting, which works even when the door is closed. An additional aluminium tray is there to accommodate decanters and a humidor.
To complete the new Vario cooling line-up from Gaggenau, there are two outstanding new fridge freezers, each measuring 91cm wide. These capacious appliances are designed to accommodate large amounts of food and are ideal for parties & other special occasions.
