Revolutionary Oven Design
Generation 5000 ovens come in 60cm and 90cm widths and feature exciting innovations such as Moisture Plus cooking, a method that combines dry heat with steam for fabulously moist baking and roasting results. They have a host of practical features which, depending on model, include a wireless roast probe and pyrolitic cleaning, making them an absolute pleasure to cook with and clean.
The 90cm wide H5981 BP oven really highlights Miele's talent for design. The control panel is a three-dimensional unit that tilts towards you. A touch of the finger on the glass panel, and the oven wakes up with a polyphonic melody; while a strip of LEDs below the control panel light up to show that the oven is ready for use. The oven itself is so large it can take three chickens at once on the rotisserie!
Miele's new compact ovens, meanwhile, offer all the features of a top of the range oven, but are just 45cm high - fantastic if you have a small kitchen but don't want to compromise on your cooking facilities! These neat, smaller appliances are the perfect complement to an Aga, or for those occasions when one oven is just not enough. There are even two models with an integrated microwave for truly unbeatable versatility.
