Induction cooking is clean, clever and once you start using it you'll never go back! Working in a unique way, the induction hob has a strong electro magnet just under the surface of the ceramic cooking zones. When you switch on the zone and place a magnetic pan on top the circuit is complete and heat is transferred directly and evenly to the pan and its contents.

Energy Efficient

Because of the technology that is used on an induction hob, only the area under the pan is heated, so there is no heat disappearing from around the sides of the pan.

Responsive

Speed is one of the major benefits of using an induction hob, cooking zones heat up quickly and power is easily transferred between zones. Being extremely controllable and energy efficient, as soon as a pan is removed from the hob the magnetic circuit is broken and the heat subsides - thus offering a similar level of controllability and sensitivity as cooking on a gas hob.
